I hate to say it, but I'm totally addicted to it. I've got a day job with internet access, so I can be here 9 hours a day while I'm working, and usually am.....I look up other stuff on the web too, but the window for yahoo answers is always open, at least until the nosy
person that relieves me for lunch gets on here.
Any of you filks feel the same way?

another related question...do you think yahoo intends it to be addicting, and do you think thay will put advertising on here when a critical mass of users is on to whore money off of?

last related question.. I'd like to know who the person or persons were that created
yahoo answers.....its sort of a combination
search engine(with human help) and message board.....I really like it.....more than anything ive seen on the web in a while, along with you tube......

another thing..don't you get sort of let down when you get that "you've reached your daily limit" message? LOL...It's almost like the bar cutting off a drunk that had enough!
"No more answers or questions for you, my friend!".....and then you have to wait till the next day, when the bartender is "serving" again....LOL

I'm old enough to remember AOL chat rooms, and that was way addicting....yahoo answers is at least on that level.......and I like it better because you
have a buffer so idiots can't get too mean on here and ruin it for everyone. They can't rig the system to spam stuff(at least unless
someone is VERY savvy), and the lag time keeps jerks who want to bug people off here. In chatroofs, it was fun till a jerk got in the chatroom and started ripping on people.

finally, like someone said, its fun to try to be funny or witty here(though people ask too many just plain silly/stupid questions
on here, one person comes on here every day saying he can't find his wives hole when they have sex, stuff like that....).

Yes. Some months ago I entered the internet to read my mails and read the news. Now, I spend more or less 2 hours every day reading and choosing questions. It's a new and different way of learning new stuff and knowing how people from various backgrounds answer and react... Really good stuff for learning!

Goodness, Yes. I am home all day everyday and I am constantly on Yahoo! Answers.. IT's awefull, but awesome at the same time.. lol..
It's not that fun when you have reached your limit for asking and answering questions for the day... then you just have to think of answers and questions to ask and answer the next day.. lol
totally agree with ya, buddie

It is really addicting specially when you are a witty person, you really like to answer questions posted here but base on my opinion its not addicting..I don't think yahoo intends this kind of thing to be really addicting, maybe they want us to have a certain site or page where we can find answers to our questions faster.
