My son has a project for school. He supposed to "make" a toy from the 17th century. I thought you good people could give us some ideas.

Most children have played with alphabet blocks at sometime. They are now known as a classic educational toy. One of the first toys designed to have an educational purpose, they have been popular since the 17th century.

A top would be fine.

Toys back then were mainly, puppets, dolls, kites, wheels and sticks.
