There isn't really any really important brushes you need other than the 1s u've mentioned. For Concealer I use me Finger but a brush can even it out more. BLACK eyeliner is best I can't live without it, well I can but u know (drama queen) Yeh Clinique kohl shaper for eyes is meant to be quite good, I think. And I prefer high beam :D.

Basic brushes that you should have are: blush, lip, liner, shadow, and crease.

I also suggest that if you wear foundation to have a foundation brush. When you apply foundation with a sponge you lose a lot of the product in the sponge. I advice that you apply with a brush and go over with a sponge.

As for the concealer you can use your fingers or a brush but be aware that your fingers have oils in them so it actually is best to use a brush.

As far as brown or black eye liner that is completely up to you and what the occassion is. For day, you may want to wear brown and for evening black. There is no rule...wear what looks good.

Can't answer the clinique question because i don't typically use their products.

As for the highlighting I would say High Beam.

Hope this helps!

p.s. make up does not make you look old, not knowing how to apply it correctly makes you look like an idiot...that's about it. It also doesn't ruin your skin unless you are not taking proper care of it in the first place. With a good skincare regimen you will be fine. I am a make-up artist and I wear product just about everyday and even when I'm not wearing anything, I get tons of compliments on how great my skin is.

If you use a powder foundation, brushes work great. With concealer I prefer to use the finger, but you should use whichever makes you more comfortable and you think gives better results. Black or Brown eyeliner.....depends on the color eyeshadow you are wearing, with golds, and neutrals I use brown, for everything else I use black. Sorry no answer for the last 2 questions. One more thing, remember the purpose of makeup is to enhance not hide what you really look like. For instance, my eyes are not all that flattering, but I have high, well defined cheek bones. So I concentrate more on my eye makeup than on cheek colors.

You should get Mac brushes. If you have fair skin use brown eyeliner if you have medium or olive skin use black. Clinique kohl shaper for eyes is good. I prefer high beam by benefits because its a golden pink liquid highlights your complexion with moonlight radiance. Apply with fingertips on top of makeup to your cheekbones. For a sheer overall radiance, try blending it with your favorite moisturizer.

well if u r using powder foundation then u need a brush for that if u use liquid u can use a sponge. an angular brush with which u can apply eyeshadow as eyeliner. a lip brush for lip stick. ya its better to apply the concealer with ur fingers. gives a nice finish.
i prefer black eyeliner but thats coz i have brown eyes. if u have blue or green eyes then brown works better.

If you really have to wear make up... then..
definitely use a brush to apply bass, put don't get a very cheap one, because the hair will come off on your face!
I prefer black eyeliner, but don't over do it.
basic brushes would be: Blush brush, eyeshadow brush (maybe 2), bass brush and you can get a lipstick brush.
not quite sure about the other questions. I don't use makeup alot.

For concealer, I'm currently using one that's a liquid with an applicator similar to ones used with some lip glosses. But whether I use that or any other kind, I dot my face with the concealer, but use a makeup sponge to blend it. It seems to work best for me.

For eyeliner, it depends on your complexion and the look you're going for. If you are fair skinned, or have fair hair, or are going for a subtle look, go with brown liner. If you have a darker complexion, or have dark hair or are going for a more dramatic look, use black. I have both that I use at different times.

you need a blush brush, powder brush, atleast 2 different eyeshadow brushes with different sizes and bristles, an eyebrow angled brush and a concealer brush.

brown and black eyeliner depends on the shadow color and what you are wearing it really depends. I wear black most of the time cause i like my eyes to stick out.

as far as your highlighting ? i don't know don't use them

A brush for applying lip gloss and liquid lip liner would be good.

Use a finger for concealer, it works into your skin better.

Try the cool colored eye liners some day. That's in! Other than that, black is better.

I use MaryKay cosmetics. They're the best!

i like brushes better, it gets spread more evenly. i dont like sponges. There are a lot of kits that u could get the whole set of brushes you need that include Conceler, foundation, blush, powder, smudge, different eye brushes.

for concealer you SHOULD use a brush, but i like to use my finger tips because i feel i spread it more evenly. and idk just i like my fingers better.

i prefer black eye liner because it brings your eyes out more

i think clinique's kohl shaper good

i love and trust all mac makeup, i love all their colors!
