The overall wisdom of vitamin E supplementation has been increasingly questioned in recent years. A 2005 meta analysis of vitamin E supplementation questioned the benefit of high dosage alpha tocopherol. This meta analysis found that "high dose" vitamin E (>400 units/day) was associated with an all cause mortality risk difference of 39 per 10,000 persons. Furthermore, a significant relationship was seen between dose and all-cause mortality, with increased risk with doses exceed 150 units per day

Don't take it everyday. 400 IU's can prove toxic to some people. Try just taking it 2-3 times a week. This applies to a lot of supplements. You don't have to take them everyday to benifit.
