In my opinion I would get the Wii. I am. First off the PS3 is $600 dollars!! Who is going to buy this??? I don't see it selling very well. The Wii is so cutting edge and revolutionary, and on top of that it has a great pricetag @ $250. Wii will have a free online platform were you can play games from NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, SEGA, SATURN, ATARI, NEO GEO. That is the most exciting part that I am looking forward to.

Do what I'm going to do; Im a avid Sony supporter too, but they have gone too far, I cannot wait this long! I got a Xbox 360, but wasn't very impressed with the gameplay aspects of the games, even though at some points it can be stunning. I feel The Xbox 360 is very similar to the PS3, but the PS3 odviously has afew more advanced fetures, but is also overpriced.

I am going to get a Wii, and 2 games which look too good to miss; Twilight Princess, and Redsteel. I also plan to play Wii sports with my family, so I will also be buying some more controllers.

After that, I will just see! If the PS3 looks too good to be missed i will buy it.

I doubt I will sell my Wii after that since by then there will be Metroid, Super smash bros Brawl and Mario Galaxy. Though a couple abit less mature than Twilght and Red Steel, I feel that the control is too good to be missed!

Hope I've helped!

PS3: $600
Wii: $250

PS3 Games:Famitsu predicts PS3 games prices of $70-$80
Wii Games: $50

Sure the PS3 has some cool games but who would pay that kind of money. For the amount of money the're asking for the PS3, you can buy a Wii and have $350 left over. You can seven games!!!

Here are just some of the games you can get:

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Wii Sports

Red Steel

Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam

Madden NFL 2007

Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz

Metal Slug Anthology

Trauma Center: Second Opinion

Elebits

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance

Blitz: The League

Rayman Raving Rabbids

SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab

Disney/Pixar's Cars

And to me it depends on the game an not the graphics

Nintendo owns the Mario and Zelda franchise. Those are definatly great games. It all depends on what you like to play. I personally would wait for the PS3, I truly believe it will blow away the Wii. However, it all depends on your taste in games.
