Right you are. Blair has that "little something extra" that reminds me of Churchill - but he's born a bit too late. With, what is it, 90+ percent of Brits opposing his vision/position and his impending retirement, what does that say about the people? Clearly it is the blanket opposition to war - understandable - that clouds ones ability to appreciate this man. We, here on the other side of the pond, appreciate him and wish Bush had the guts and determination he has minus the blackmailing from the Mexican government for past indiscretions with probable photographic proof of youthful messing around in that country. I have no proof and this is speculation but why else would he fight a war "over there" when we are drowning in insurgents from Latin America and Mexico "over here."?
See how I brought that one home?

For me it must be that conceited, self happy, smirk on his face as he won a "status ovation" from the U. S. Senate. surprising what the sacrifice of a few sturdy men (and ladies individuals) in Iraq and Afghanistan can gain!! The "guy" (and that i exploit the term loosely) become, is, and consistently would be a entire fecking @rsehole.
