What happened to fake fur?

No, I wouldn't wear one even if has been given to me. I would donate it to the homeless...they need it more than I do.

because apparently they haven't taken the time to see how these furs are made, they are selfish people who don't care. all they care about is if they look good. The world really does make me sick sometimes. I want to be the next swiss family robinson to get away from people . if people like the feel of it over faux fur tell them to go their *** into the wilderness or alaska pick up a ****** seal or fox and rub it on their skin. They have the money to buy a fur why not just fly there and feel it while it's alive and if they still want that fur tell them to bash it's little skull in their ****** self!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and for people who say that people have been wearing it for centuries ,that's why god put them here, that was before we could make clothes from other materials and it is a sin to kill a animal and not use every part of the animal. meat , skin ,coat etc. They are killing them for coats only.I don't care what people say there is no reason for it in this day in age.

Animal fur is a versatile and durable material. Synthetics fall apart, melt, degrade or are not available to the people using them in their daily lifestyle. For most of us in america, I doubt many have ever come into contact with any significant amount of real fur, rabbit fur does'nt count.
Unless you're talking about rich bimbos in mink with nothing better to do, subsistence peoples use the best material possible to keep them alive in the elements.

Because they can. There are some very nice synthetic furs out there that seem real. I would NEVER buy a real fur coat to support them, but if someone gave me a real fur coat....I'm afraid I might wear it, even though I don't agree with killing defenseless animals. Have you ever felt a real fur next to your skin? You might wear one if you did.

Do I detect a bit of envy out there? Fur has been worn for centuries for warmth. If God didn't want people to wear fur, He wouldn't have created furry animals

to kill animals for thier skins.. It;s pretty sad, but it works! lol.. The reason that ppl wear real fur is cuz it looks, smells, and feels nicer. faux fur just doesn't cut it anymore. sorry...! Hope this answeres yur question!

because its warm and cozy. Also who wants all those baby seals and rabbits running around, they could destroy the environment.
Wearing fur is good for the environment.
Making synthetic materials POLLUTES the earth.

because some people think it looks better than fake ,also they are snobs as real costs more than fake so they probably want to boast about that. fake is still about in most shops it should say on the label whether it is or not. personally i think they should make it illeagel to wear real fur
