Even though you may not feel very secure about who you are remember how fortunate you are -there are people out there with nothing to eat, no cloths to wear, without a roof on there head or with terrible diseases. God created you to forget about your own troubles and take joy and comfort in helping others-this will lead you to self worth. Winning isn't everything-as long as you have fun! You don't have to be embarrassed as long as you are proud of who you are what others think is not that important. If you really want to feel good about yourself help a fellow human being who may be feeling the same way you do-you could change their life forever just by showing some kindness-you would want someone to do the same for you-and they will-cheer up! The world is yours! Create your own self worth!

Hey babe, how can you be worthless? I'm the 29th person to answer and we all love you. Listen you're 15 right. You're going through puberty, what the Americans call 'finding yourself' and you have hit a period of lack of self-esteem. This is quite common and even confident looking people get it but just hide it. You are becoming an adult and suddenly you don't have as many people to rely on like your parents. You are starting to develop self responsibility and it ain't easy. Try to concentrate on the good things in life. Remember that you won't be at school forever. Do the best you can because in a couple of years you'll be out in the wide world earning some cash and asserting your independence. I bet you grow up as a success in whatever field you choose with lots of friends and you'll look back on this brief period of uncertainty with some amusement. Just look at people you know and admire. They've been through the same things you have. Count your blessings and look at those more disadvantaged than yourself. If you're worried about talent find something that interests you and take it up as a hobby. Could be useful in later life.

Above all learn to like yourself and others will too.

Good luck in your life and whatever you do.

I used to feel this way myself when I was 15. I think that what you are beginning to learn is that life is very tough in the wrong outlook. As we begin to mature in our teenage years, we begin to see that life is not about what is handed to you. All your life you've been given everything, food, entertainment, guidance. You haven't had to take responsibility for your own life.

As you age, you will gradually be forced to make more and more decisions that will affect the rest of your life. Where to go to college, what to major in, which girl to marry etc. Even choices like "what day to do laundry" or "what should I have for dinner" can have lasting impact. Your health, your future, your finances, all of these things will be in your own hands.

Remember that you decide your own level of involvement. I'm not saying you SHOULD get more friends or improve your situation socially, but at some level you facilitate being anti social or being embarassed, or feeling worthless. You have to change yourself because no force will do it for you. A magic fairy isn't going to come from the sky to save you.

this is a terrible sickness you have. It is called adolescence but do not worry it will not last more than about4 years. You are stating what many feel but do not admit. I do see one thing you could work on though. This need to win is a bad thing taught by our culture because obviously everybody can not win... Those who do win suffer silent but obvious rejection of a different type than you. They get backstabbed repeatedly by the jealous who smile them in the face and eventually bring them down. Stop competing and you will be an automatic winner.

you are still young. you are NOT worthless. you are depressed. Don't let the world get you down. find someone you can talk to.
I thought high school was bad. people are so immature and mean. they are the worthless ones, not you !!!!
you will find something that you are good at, just think about it. don't worry about sports, they don't work for all people. God created you because you are a beautiful miracle !! good luck and prayers to you.

It is BECAUSE you are 15. Teenagers always self-loathe, even the popular ones.It can be an awkward, crummy time, but I promise that once you get out into "the real world", things will be a lot better-AND I don't mean college, either(it's high school with drinking)- I mean when you find your niche in the world, a career and social life that satisfy you. It will happen- have faith.

I know that every one feels this way at one time or another in their lifetime, but please believe that as you become older you will find your own way. You are a young wonderful person who has the freedom to follow any path you choose!! I felt the exact same way in High School, and today I regret that I did not accept the challenges that came before me. Hang in there, the world has so much beauty, and you are a part of that beauty!! Good thoughts, okay?
