yes, as you understand from the other posts, you need to use 3d party partition software, i don't know you but as for me i hate spend money for progs which i'll use only a couple of times such as partition magic. i'd advice you to look at disk director, it's as good as PM, but it has some additional features like Partition Recovery - allow you to recover lost or deleted partition, or os selector with it's help you can manage several os's(multibooting) and there is no need to bother in what order to install os's.

If you are going to create an unpartitioned disk, your present setup will be lost. If your xp is loaded in a seperate partition, the remaining portions can be partitioned further.
For patitioning, boot up through XP bootable disk and follow the commands, which is very easy to configure

sure, yet i do not advise it. each and anytime you partition without format, there is an chance for records loss. Yahoo search for "Partition Magic" or "lovable Partition manager" both are fairly efficient and performance a minimum danger in records loss. CPM is freeware vs PM which isn't.

If your 80Gb is already partition,you must you a different program to partition the rest or what you have left,you can use partion magic,to do this. If your going to do a dual boot,try the source.

anyway, disk director is really better then PM.
