To CD/DVD? Yes. And yes it's the same process. A file is a file is a file. Format of the file doesn't matter. Only that it'll be read-only when youre finished. The filesystem type is far more important.

From what i will tell a DMG document is somewhat like an ISO document so i believe you will might desire to make yet another dmg document and upload the contents of the present dmg document to it alongside with the textual content textile checklist.
