Ink is not dry on dviorce papers and X has moved in with a new Hooch. We have 17 month old son that he gets on weekends and he refuses to tell me where they live now or updated phone number. Will I go to jail if i refuse visitation for the safety of my child. She could be a psycho. or her kids could be jealous of the baby and do harm to him. help

You have the right to know where he lives and his phone number and if would be nice to know who is around your child. See your lawyer and make the request. You calling her names HOOCH. isn't going to help you and it is going to cause more trouble than its worth. You make your self look angry and telling, showing that you still have feelings for him. Most likely why he didn't or wont give you that information because he doesn't want any trouble or doesn't know what you will do . doesn't trust you. If you want something , then you need to be nice. Have a warm emotional conversation with him and let him know that you aren't prepare and or don't know how to handle seeing him with someone else and for another women to be a part of your child's life. Ask him to be a little more understanding and to give you some time to adjust. Ask him to bring your child home in the evening for a while and meet his new friend, showing her that you are his mom and you set the rules for your child giving instructions on what is OK and what isn't.

Yes you have the right to feel anything you're gonna feel.
Yes you have the right to withhold any visitation for anyreason especially the reason of the child's saftey. You can also request that a full backround check be provided to you of any person that he lives with, even his own mother. The worst you'll get is a slap on the wrist from the court, no fines.
I would never in a zillion years let an ex play house with his new girlfriend using MY children.

if you don't have a lawyer, call anyone for a FREE consultation about this. The court MUST have his address and phone number on record. Unfortunately, you cannot refuse visitation for this factor alone. Try calling one of his family members(mom?) and discussing your issues with one of them and see if they can help. He is the father of your son and i'm sure he loves him and will not let anyone harm him in his care.

Yes, you have every right to be angry. You have full custody(I'm guessing) and you are the mother: you have the right to know where your child will be when he/she is with his/her dad. Talk to your lawyer and refuse any visits for the time being.

You will not go to jail.
If he won't tell you where he lives and how to contact him, I wouldn't let the child go with him either.

Yep, you cannot stop visitation based on that. Talk to your lawyer about it.
