Female circumcision:
In my women's studies class in college, a student presented a speech on this topic. It was very educational and memorable. There is alot of information about it and many people in USA don't know about it. Practice is very rampant in Africa.

Inform people about the AIDS epidemic or some other health issue.
Or on a lighter note be informative about something that you do very well, whether it's skating techniques, mastering a particular video game and the strategies and techniques it entails, or cooking a particular dish.
To inform (remember that): to relay information.

Choose a topic which interests you. However, keep in mind who your audience is (i.e. fellow students faculty etc...) I've always found that it's best to speak about something you like and think your audience would like to learn or know more about. For example, talk about a new technology, a particular business, etc. and be confident!

ok first of all...the guy with the penis...get a life! and second let me try to help here...good topics would be any medical research such as cancer and the such. But mainly find something you're actually interested in. Anything pretty much that you can research on like wildlife...I'm personally into horses...so you know think of something that you like. :-) Let me know if it helps any.
