At what age should girls start removing hair at unwanted places?

If you are a young girl, please listen to me when I say to you that you should not shave your legs until someone mentions that you need to. Once you start...you have to do it forever...ugh. If your hair is really dark and bothers you, ask your mom or an older sister what they think.

If underarm odor is becoming a problem, then it may be time to start shaving there.

Other areas...I am no prude, but I was never a fan of the itch that comes with re-growth, so I don't see a reason for it, again, unless someone mentions it. So that girl had better be pretty near the age of consent if the person mentioning it isn't her parent.

Hair were there for the reason at one time they were the cover to protect a person from sun, rain, wind.

But if it is a case of self esteem it should be done at any time (any age but if you can postpone it, longer the batter). Worst method in the order are:

Using razor, stimulates the growth. If you look at the hair under microscope they are conical in shape. So when you cut it with Razor next growth is more visible.

Waxing pulls the hair out roots and all, next growth is same.

Chemical removal will kill some growth but is ruff on the skin.

Electrolysis buns/boils the root and the oil sac off, next growth is the same but slightly less.

Laser treatment in doctors office is most expensive but preferred.

In all cases there is a chance of infection, or damage to the skin or developing scar tissues.

No prescribed or fixed age. When she feels that the hair growth at the......unwanted place is quite dense and needs to be trimmed or removed altogether. Such a situation doesn't normally arise before the ages of 14 to 16.

It is best to start removing the hair from legs and underarm from the age of 15/16.
As for 'other' areas like the v*agina, dont remove the hair there. The hair there actually serves a purpose. Take a decision regarding that region only if you wear bikinis or when u get sexually active.
My personal opinion is that it is best to leave that hair and let it grow. It also serves as a cover and it is modest to leave it.
Eg: say you go to a doctor and she/he sees that hair is removed, he/she may assume that you are not modest.

it is a matter of personal choice.if you wear skirts,shave legs.if sleeveless,remove from underarms.for pubic hair,it is your choice,you can do with trimming also.
let me tell you ,inspite of popular belief,shaving does not make the hair coarse,and it is the most convenient method.use a ladies razor please.

well,i sarted when i was 12 yrs old.its most preferable when you are in puberty(age when your sex organs mature(11-16))if its irritating you a lot then go ahead.
