My best friend of 9 years has never been "perfect" neither have I by any means but since I had started planning my wedding she became very competitive with getting married and having more kids. Now that my wedding is done every time we talk shes mentioning things shes planning for her wedding and having another baby like shes trying to "one up" me. I try to make it clear that I want her wedding to be everything she wants it to be and just leave it at that but the constant "look at how much better I am" sh*t it getting monotonous.
How do i talk to her about this with out accusing her?

Hmmm, this is a tough question....weddings bring out the worst in people, I have found. But is this something that you have noticed over the whole of your 9 years together. If not, then I would recommend that you don't say anything, as tough as it may be, until her wedding is done at least and some time has passed. Know that it is her insecurity that is showing here and really has nothing to do with you. If you can let it roll off of you for a while at least you are the bigger person. My fear is that otherwise you will lose this friendship if you talk to her about it while she is in this head space.
Good luck!

Oh God you have the same problem i have got with my friend who's with me since 11 years.Whenever I tell her that I'm looking forward to get married, she gets competitive and try to divert my mind by telling me how bad it is to get married.Sometimes i feel as if friendship is like a piece of stinky ****.But now the best thing to do is just to ignore. If she wants to talk about her wedding plans then just listen to her and encourage her because maybe she thinks that you might forget her after getting married.Just remind her that you love her and will be with her rest of the life (if you really planning for that) but in case you're too fed up and want to have a good start of your new life then just ignore her and after all you'll be married soon and will have kids ..the life will become so busy ..you wouldn't find time for all these things. And have a great marriage.Take care.

From all indication she is not ur friend. She does not want anything good to come your way. My advise is that keep things to urself and plan with others. Then this will surprise. It shows that she is an envious person. Keep a little distance from her for now.

Lifes too short to worry just get on and treat her the same as yo treat every one else. Don't rise to the bait if your recognise her antics it will increase the situation of you just treat everything as a conversation you can all move forward in a psitive motion and she will tire of it, especially as she hes a hell of a time ahead of her.

PEOPLE LIKE HER ARE A DIME A DOZEN, NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO SHE'LL ALWAYS WIN, IF SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY WITH YOU, SHE IS NOT REALLY YOUR FRIEND; FRIENDS WOULD TRY AND HELP YOU; IGNORE HER AND LOOK TO SOMEONE ELSE TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR WEDDING AND LEAVE HER OUT TO DRY AND ENJOY YOUR MARRIAGE LIFE

She's not your friend. Friends don't compete, they love unconditionally and support their friends.
