everything with the US could be solved by revamping our banking and monetary system, pulling the rug out from under corrupt big buisness and political figures , and going to alternate energy technologies .... the flip side of that coin is that leaving the current system of power the way it is it is a REQUIREMENT to go into the middle east for both oil and economic reasons simply for the survival of the US and for it to remain in a dominant position in the world .... so what would i do? ...im not even sure what is possible to do at this point in our history ... kennedy wanted to change things for the betterment of the common man and the country and they killed him for it ...

Yes I would invade Iraq, for 12 years Bill Clinton, George HW Bush and George W Bush gave them time to conform to the agreements in the original cease fire. It WAS a cease fire, we agreed to stop destroying them if they did certain things, they refused. Saddam Hussein did support terrorists, at the very least he gave money to the families of suicide bombers. He did not cooperate with weapons inspectors, he stalled for so long he gave most reasonable people to suspect that he was hiding weapons. Most importantly it is the war on terror not the war of 911, his level of involvement is not the issue.
Running away is not an option. If we leave now we will embolden terrorists and every country who wishes America harm, it is just not an option. They have always said that we are a paper tiger who will run as soon as it gets tough or lasts too long, we must show our resolve and not prove them right.
The problem with military operations is that the enemy does not cooperate with you. It is easy to make strategy after the fact, Monday Morning Quarterbacks. If I had to change I would have bombed harder at the first invasion and I would have used more bombing in Sunni held areas. It might not be politically correct but I believe US soldiers are more important than than world opinion.

Absolutely. However once Sadam was out of the way I would consentrate my efforts back on Afganistan. After all isn't that where Bin Laden is supposed to be hiding. The United States is a more likely hiding place though.
2. Yes for awhile to help the people to rebuild then get the heck out of there.

1. Simply unequivocally NO.
2. Well I believe we need to come out as soon as possible. However the Bush Administration has screwed things up so bad, it may take a year or more to get out.
3. Of course, any good military strategist changes plans, personnel, etc as the situations demand.

I would
1. Feed all the poor people in the country. And Mexico.
2. Build a new home for every single person in the country with the money I'd otherwise have spent in the invasion
