You are not old. Figure out what you want to do and proceed towards that goal. A happy life is a more successful life. Enjoying your job is a must. It is 40 hours a week. Over 2000 hours a year. Go to college and get your degree. You will receive college loans that don't have to be paid back for years. Make sure and take the full credit load and the loans are not due until you graduate. You could work and go to school. Trust me, you can do it. It will bring up your confidence and make you feel better about yourself. Is it a little scary? YES. Is it a little tough? YES. Is it worth your time? YES. Anything character building in life is hard and takes time. You will show employers by going back and getting your degree, you have confidence and dedication. That is a big plus in the workplace. Get all the way through and you will do just fine.

Are you getting I went back to school in my late 30's. I did Strayer University, took on ground and on-line courses it was a breeze. I had my associates already and got my BS form Strayer.

Landed and excellent state job as an accountant and I am now studying for my Masters in Business.

You're still a baby kid.

Also my aunt went back at 54 to get her PHD in Psychology. She now has her on practice.

Also stop thinking about being an employee and start thinking about being an employer. You are never to old to be an employer.

Don't worry.

You can get a technical career, they are shorter and you can start working in something sooner, but to like it is important because if you don't, you will feel uncomfortable with your work when you do it!

At least you are back to education...

God bless you.

Have "Faith" in yourself.... look around, the most educated person is not the richest. the most skillful person is not the most successful... you have everything in yourself to be who you want to be. what then does it take to be successful? the answer is within you. Good luck.
