Earls Court is SW5...Hammersmith is W6 - perhaps looking for digs away from Touristville is the best bet - going toward Ealing is half decent

I highly recommend the Paddington Station area. There are some nice "budget" hotels in walking distance of Paddington Station. It's a very nice neighborhood w/great pubs, and getting there via the Heathrow Express is the easiest and quickest way possible. We stayed at the Lancaster Court Hotel on Sussex Gardens Road, a very decent inexpensive hotel that included breakfast. There are several others though. In your online search, use the Paddington Station area as a starting point! Good luck and enjoy! I love London!

Be careful. Dont go to areas such as Hackney, Peckham, Southwark, etc, usually there are a lot of hotels (quite cheap and reasonable) around the Earls Court area, postcode probably W6. Im sure if you put in your preferred search engine "cheap hotels in Earls Court, London) a big list will appear, perhaps some with have picutres, prices lists, etc and it is very central to all tourist spots and the West End.

If your looking for cheap and American-like try:
http://www.premiertravelinn.com
We've stayed at many of these, and they are always clean and comfortable.

If you want something more "European" then go to www.tripadvisor.com and search for london hotels.

Advice, plan on paying twice as much as you would in America and don't expect a lot. UK 5 star = 4 US star. UK 4 star = 3 US star and etc.

I've never had to book accomodation in London before. However, I've always found somewhere with Smooth Hounds http://www.smoothhounds.co.uk/. Also visit http://www.visitlondon.co.uk/. If they still work too expensive for you, try the youth hostels http://www.yha.org.uk/.
If this is your first visit, avoid East London. If staying south of the river, don't venture too far from the river.

There are a lot of very good places just up from Mable Ache along the A5 Edgeware Road, at Paddington. been there lots of choice, and not to far from the city. but what ever you do make sure your safe when travelling around London alone, especially at night. have a good time.

Any of the Youth Hostels accept for YHA City of London because it's a bit grim and the breakfast is horrible.

ok, i understand you mentioned you already desperate, yet I plenty want Delilah, and she or he suits in soooo plenty better with destiny siblings. possibly it is going to help to undergo in concepts the "undesirable lady" image from the Bible, which may make her seem to greater healthful the tattooed form. Seth, Wyatt, Delilah and Evangeline would completely make me swoon. Delilah London would be cool (i assume in case you need to use London first, you ought to apply London Delilah.) And, the greater i think of approximately it, the greater Delilah sounds like a "goth" decision. London feels widespread and teeny-bopper, and extraordinarily the spelling Londyn. i'm not tattooed, and that i'm not a steel head or goth, although I do pay attention to a pair steel/goth rock, yet I nonetheless think of Delilah is a greater robust decision. i understand none of that's what you needed to pay attention. So, to easily answer your question: London Delilah London Rosalie London Pearl London Juliet London Anabel And, i'd genuinely decide for London over Londyn (yet i'd incredibly bypass with Delilah;)
