Has the CPU been recently changed? If so, this is normal and is just letting you know that the settings are changing. If not, you might have a problem with your CPU or Motherboard. Press F1 and see if it happens again the next time you boot and also check if it has the correct CPU listed.

This means that the BIOS that runs at startup thinks that you have changed your CPU.
Try entering the Setup menu and saving the changes. If the problem persists it might mean that the battery that allows you to save changes in the BIOS is empty. Another indication of this is that the clock on the PC doesn't keep the time that you set it to (i.e. it always shows the wrong time or even 00:00).
This battery is on the motherboard and is quite easy to change, so have a go at it.
Then try saving the changes again.

My computing gadget does this also. I only stay with it and press the F1, then it starts usually. mine says "previous fan failure, press F1 to proceed" i have fastened the fan and that i have lengthy previous in to the bios and cleared each and each of the blunders. It nevertheless comes up with the stupid blunders. playstation - I have a Dell Dimensions personal computer
