I get these e-mails from overseas all the time asking for my help transferring money, or sometimes they say that they I am the last living relative of some dead guy in Africa (I'm Italian) and he's left lots of money to me. What do I do to make them stop? They never directly ask for any personal information but ask me to reply to their personal e-mail. The last one I got I replied 'stop being a sorry sack of s hit and get a real job'. But I would really like for these e-mails to go away permanently. Anybody else receive these?

*embarassed* I never thought that replying to them would cause problems. Hmmm, I'm not too computer savvy in case you didn't notice.

Everyone unfortunately, the best way to make them stop is move to an e-mail provider with a better spam filter - like gmail.

Believe me, you are not alone. I have managed, in the last 3 weeks, to attract over 30 such emails. Wanting to put money into my account and many lottery wins that has probably earned me over 200 million dollars so far!! I was sending them to abuse@?????? until my email address was grey listed, which mean't that I could received emails but not send.
You see, I was seen to be the one sending out spam because there was so many coming from my email address, even though they were going to an abuse reporting site from the email's origin. All is well now after 3 days of torturous phone calls and waiting to get the problem fixed. Anyway, unless you want to pay to get anti spam and anti virus added to your service, just delete the rotten things. Don't open them, just hit delete, as I have learned. I was told that they will eventually give up and move on to someone else, just hang in there and don't go mad like I did!!

Never open nor reply to them, simply delete them. By replying you are confirming that your email address is live, and could bring on an increase in spam, etc. Thousands of such emails are sent out randomly at a time in the hope that at least a couple will catch someone out. Try mailwasher at http://www.mailwasher.net/ and filter them out.

first of all do not read or even open these messages as they are surely virus-affected or they are spam. transfer them to your junk folder if u r using yahoo!mail and also complain to the yahoo team for that writing an e-mail. they will surely have an alternative to save ur account from these junk mails.

No. The lawyer could be disciplined by ability of his professional affiliation for misconduct and, in maximum jurisdictions, in theory besides, the spouse could be criminally charged with impersonating a lawyer or performing as a lawyer and not making use of a licence. i'm hoping which you're actually not procuring criminal suggestion won from an unqualified individual. you may bypass someplace else for criminal suggestion.

It is illegal, and they usually come from Nigeria. The Nigerian authorities are trying to stop it, but they are having a very hard time. I used to get them all the time, but haven't gotten one for a little bit now and I'm glad. Just delete them and ignore them.

they are spam and illegal scams. they are con artists trying to steal your money. when you reply, they know that your email account is active. just get a spam blocker for your computer so that you dont get junk email. check out the link below for more info on this particular con.
