Okay, heres my take on this. I cheated on my boyfriend when we were going out, the first six months. The only thing i did was kiss other boys, and flash them. Never sex. I dont believe in "once a cheater, always a cheater" IN MY CASE, because we've been together for 4 1/2 years and ever since i cheated on him in the first six months, i havent done it once, nor can i even stand to think about doing it again. Just like with your situation, i wouldnt say "once a cheater, always a cheater" applys to you either because you cheated once, and like you said, you wouldnt ever do it again. But in your guys situation, he sounds like he just doesnt care who he's cheating on. I mean, if he cheated on the ex-girlfriend, and now on the new girlfriend, it seems like he has a pattern with cheating. If you really like this guy, I believe that it can work out. Let him know how much you care for him and how much you want a good relationship with hiim. Because let me tell you, and believe me i know, that if he continues to cheat, you will continue to be a doormat, and the relationship will either be really really shitty, or you wont even have a relationsihp because you will get fed up with the cheating. Just trust him, and try to build on that. Also, if you're really worried about it, i would try couples couseling, its a huge help and you both will benefit from it in the long run. Good luck!

In my opinion it's up to the type of man that you are. Alot of men cheat not because they don't love the person they are with. They cheat for a thrill, some think they won't get caught. Some just want to experience something different that they aren't getting in they're current relationship, but still want their cake and eat it too. While others really aren't happy and are just looking for more. Some men get caught up in the moment. Not to say women don't cheat, because they do. I don't believe in once a cheater always a cheater because I have that little ounce of hope that people can change. So yea if you really are happy and found everything that you are looking for then yes, maybe you can change and not cheat because you dont feel the urge and are happy with what you have. Hope this helps

As the saying goes....Shame on you if you fool me once, Shame on me if you fool me twice.
I don't really believe the once a cheater always a cheater scenerio but...if the person doesn't want to change and be with their mate only, then yes they will continue to cheat untill they are completely sure they want to settle down.
So it's time for you to put your foot down either be with me or let me move on because there are men out there that are faithfull!!
Good Luck

a cheater remains a cheater, eventhough he/she tries not to be,
so select the right person to trust
you may think that a person is capable of your trust, but you cant really tell unless you tried that person
so, keep an open mind

Only a Fool will make the same mistake twice, and hopefully they grow up and find a maturity level that suits them.

You only cheat when you are unhappy with what you have. if you truly love someone, cheating isn't even an option.
