Majoring in Microbiology and History and philosphy of Science.

I heard that teaching is very stressful.
Im based in Singapore.

Thats why the Singapore Gov is spending money on a teacher recruitment drive because so many teachers are retiring.

Wouldn't that make you a microbiologist?

As a microbiologist, you will work with many other scientists and have a vast range of opportunities. Microbiologists work in almost every industry and have many different responsibilities. You will collaborate with many other scientists. Depending on your specific situation, you may perform more than one function or role.

Teaching gives you every major holiday off -- no more asking for Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday time -- plus you're free all summer long to travel and bring home interesting artifacts to share with eager little minds. It's a very noble profession.
