By the way, I'm gonna have to get me some of those light up needles myself!

thats Lola, you can find her at http://lionbrand.com and while your there sign up for their news letter and you'll get the laugh with Lola cartoon every couple weeks sent straight to your inbox along with some some new patterns. Those lite up needles are so cool aren't they, I think I might buy some soon.
