I hear sectarian not secular.

Sectarian means devoted to a particular sect

I should correct sassified19: The media tries to convince people that every religion except Christianity doesn't kill in the name of God. That's the key, their anti-Christian bias. If the "insurgents" (read: terrorists) in Iraq and Afghanistan were Christian, you would probably hear the media condemning them heavily; then again, if they were truly Christian, they wouldn't be committing acts of terrorism in the first place.

Because the media is still trying to convince the world that people don't kill people in the name of God. Yes, every major religion is performed mass murder in the name of God. Hopefully, people don't believe the hype.

the Iraqis and Afghanistan's think secular is religion and yes it is all about religion.
