A year and a half ago I was living with these 2 guys in a completely housemate kind of way but we were really close friends. Right before I left to go overseas they went through my room/personal belongings, threw my stuff in the backyard and destroyed a lot of my property. They were on drugs at the time. Whenever I am down, I think about them and how much they hurt me which makes me feel worst. How can I get over it once and for all? Do you think it will be impossible for me to go back home and see them again? I'm from NZ but live in UK.

Staying angry and hurt only hurts you. For sure they aren't thinking about it especially if they we high. Whenever you think about it think that "they aren't worth it" and go on with your life. All this hurt and anger is only effecting your life and not theirs. They probably won't even remember it and when you do someday run into them they will prob be totally different people. Time changes everything. Smile and enjoy the life you have!

Whats done is done, no amount of being upset will change that. You need to look to the future, of course it still hurts and things like that do affect you for a while but its unhealthy to linger on them, look to the future and all the great things you have got planned. I wouldnt want to see these men again if I were you, if they were unstable enough on the drugs to do that to you then what else are they capable of? If you are upset about something try not to get stuck in the rut of sitting there being upset about something, then dwelling on all the other bad stuff that has happened in the past, Ive been there, it makes you feel even worse and its not worth it to keep dragging it up. Tuck it away into a little secret corner of your mind and get up and go for a run to clear your head. You will feel better.

On drugs at the time of the incident or not, there had to be something you did that set the events into action. Take responsibility for your actions and make amends. If you can all forgive and forget- all will be well. If not- then you simply need to let it go and move on--forget about the past and don't give it another thought. If you happen to see them in a public setting when you are down- Until they approach you in a friendly manner, let them remain strangers to you. Fare Thee Well

The best way is to forgive them from deep down your heart and have this thinking deliberately that they didnt know what they were doing ( after all they were on drugs) and you will have that peace of mind and you will be able to go back and start charting with them again as friends, try it , it will work.

Einstein said who can be faster than ray speed can go to the past time. Don't believe it if you don't want to believe and believe it if you want to believe. You should report police or something (you can kick those guys) . They take drugs, you can just call the police.

Forgive them what they did to you, The only thing is best for you is ........ forgive them, don't try to forget because more you try to forget it will come back to you, and i don't think so you should go and see them again.
