Would the US government exercise restraint, or would the US government indiscriminately kill Muslims around the world in acts of genocide? Might there be another possibility?

The phrase, "you aint seen nuthin yet." comes to mind. The world only THINKS we're being bad right now. When this happens, the mid-east is gone. Sorry Israel, "collateral damage". The US will be hell bent, for better or worse, right or wrong, on destroying the muslim world.
And you wanna know the REALLY scary part? We probably won't even wait to determine if it was a muslim extremist...it might end up being another Timmothy McVeigh....but we won't care.

I would expect that the US would launch a nuclear strike on Mecca, Medina, and half of the capital cities of Islamic states. Then warn that the other half would be struck if another attack is made on the US.
The US would also arrest and deport every immigrant from an Islamic/Arab country after they finished their personal CIA interrogation.
Personally, I think the US should announce the nuclear counter-strike now as a deterent to the dirty bomb.

Go rent a move called On the Breach. After nuclear attacks the entire world was wiped out with the only place where the radiation hadent yet carried was Austrailia.
If it happened most of us would be dead or worse. When you think of there suicide bommers, something we never faced, it gets more likely ecery years that such a thing will happen.

They would throw atom bombs all over the muslim countries and exterminate them. Plus, a war on Islam with the United States and maybe in Europe would spawn. Probably would end up in a third world war.

If I were in charge, I would nuke the entire middle east and turn it into a parking lot for Arab Disneyland. Islamic extremists have no limit to what they'll do against the U.S. They cut the heads off of U.S. citizens on Al Jazeera television for God's sake!!! How much more B.S. are we going to take from them before we take some pro-active measures against them?

I don't think there would be indiscriminate killing, but as with Afghanistan ANY government found to be supporting those that committed the act would be wiped out.

The main thing to realize is that a lot of innocent people would die for no good reason. Then conervative America would over-react just like post 9/11. And then a lot of other innocent people would die.

I dont want to think of that so many people would get hurt and the government dont really care as long as they are safe.
