hook the camera up to the computer using the usb cable and depening on the programs installed on your computer a screen should pop up aking if you want to download or preview

If your digital camera come with an installation cd install the software and connect your Camera using cable provided by manufacturer.
If no software just plug the cable it will be displayed as a drive in MyComputer just open the drive and copy the photos.

Hook up your camera to your computer using the USB data cable and it should show up in My Computer (depending on which camera you have). If not, you should use the program that came with the camera to transfer the pictures.

you need to install the driver for the camera and you can just copy the files using the software

I have an option in my digi came to connect it to my computer as a usb file storage device, so i get an extra drive on the my computer and i browse the files and copy it.

Easiest way is to buy a card reader. They are inexpensive and simple to install. Then it's just a simple matter of inserting your card and downloading the pix to your comp.
