I need help. I really like my girlfriend's best friend. I am attracted to both girls. I'm not sure if it okay to break up with my girlfriend then date her best friend. I am sure her best friend likes me too because I notice the signs.

When did you start falling for your girl's Best Friend? Could it be that she liked you first and used the method of attraction to get you to fall for her. What then? You'll dump your girl and go out with her best friend. You lost respect and break your girl's heart. Nice. And you're happy with the best friend. Now the best friend's your girl but then she starts to like someone else. She attracts that guy to. Then you get ditched. Not now, in a coupla years. Who knows?
Find out how you came to fall for her. If you can't remember, then it's one of 2 things:
1) You like the concept of wanting someone you can never have.
2) She likes the concept of wanting someone she can never have.
Either way, thing is, your happiness comes first and foremost. But breaking other's hearts for the wrong reasons breeds only ill feelings.
You said something funny. You notice the signs. I mean, hello, r u mel gibson of THE SIGNS or sumthing? What signs? Next time you ask, write down what the reasons are. You never know, the solution to your problem could very well lie there.

Unless you want an enormous amount of drama in your future, you need to put yourself in your girlfriend's place and see if this situation would be cool with you. Are you attracted to her friends mind or body? Is she just flirting with you or are you wishing that she were?
Show a little maturity. If you don't want to be with your girlfriend, do her a favor and break it off. If you're going to pursue her best friend, be aware that there will be consequences and you'll have to suck it up and deal with it. Remember, this situation isn't just about you and your girlfriend is going to be hurt. You may also want to consider that her best friend is just flirting with you and may have no real interest in you.

All I have to say is that Im sure glad Im not your girlfriend because if I found out you had feelings towards my best friend I would kick your ***. However, you have to follow your heart, either way someone's heart is going to get broken so you have to do what you feel is right.

you guys can if you want, but no, typically its not ok. me and my real friends always kinda had this 'rule' about dating and such with others boyfriends and ex boyfriends, we didnt. it will damage the girls friendship. it wont be all your fault though, they werent that good of friends in the first place if this is the case. or at least the other girl you like isnt that good of a friend.
