T- series was a cassette manu. co of Singapore from where late Gulshan Kr used to bring them and copied songs of different music albums.
Later he himself started a co. named as T-sereis.
About the full form, he probably translated into Trishul.Not very certain..though

The full form is as follows - Trishul Series. The T stands for 'Trishul'. In hindu mythology, the 'Trishul' is a symbol of Lord Shiva. The company was founded by Gulshan Kumar. He was one of the most religious and ardent devotees in the Hindi film industry, especially of Lord Shiva. Ironically, he was killed, while coming out of a temple devoted to Lord Shiva.
