No you don't have to use nicknames like honey, baby or sweetie. We were all given names at birth and it's a good idea to use the given name.

No you don't have to, it just depends on how comfortable you feel when calling each other.
Some think it's cute. Some emerge into that state of informal desire characteristic to be closer with one another. One of which calling each other nicknames.

You don't have to, but the point of nicknames are to be tokens of affection.
Sometimes people just want to hear their own fuzzy little nickname and not the name that their friends, employers, and random people use so coldly on a day to day basis.

Depends the kind of person you are but is not necessary if you dont want to. There are people who do use them but that doesn't mean that you have to use them also.
