when you been together for 2 years, do you have to call each other nicknames like "honey" or "baby"? I never call her "honey" or "baby" or "sweetie".

My wife and I have been together for 11 years, we have 2 boys aged 10 and 6.
I call her Lesby-Licker or Vagina-Cord. She calls me Choude (she made it up) or Doodle-Cord.
We think it is still funny, a great way to difuse a fight.
It depends on how serious or silly you are.
we are very silly, we sing, and play act, and just act like idiots. We chill out when the kids around. (although we still make up songs about our poo when we are on the toilet). And when we have guests we are pretty stable.
A nickname is just away of making the other person smile, or yourself.

We used to call each other nicknames, but as the kids came along we stopped.
