ricky ponting had got the man of the match award for taking 5 catches. however he had contributed some runs with the bat as well. these days man of the match doesn't go to the player who makes most number of runs or takes most no. of wickets, it goes to the player who plays the best cricket. and ones got to excel in bowling, batting and fielding.

jonty rhodes. he was the best player in the game of test cricket. he did wondderful fielding many were run out because of him. he would hit many direct hits in wickets.he use to save many sixes and fours. wonderful peace of fielding by him.
