talk to the hotel owner. you may have to go through the hotel manager first to get premission to put menus or brochures in the rooms or on the front desk. have the menus or brochures professionally done. based on your typing skills above, you need to present yourself in a more professional manner.

I just stayed in a hotel that had a nearby restaurant. The hotel had those electronic keys and on the electronic key it said I got a 10% discount at the restaurant. I didn't even know about the restaurant until I got my room key.

You could go to the management of the hotel and ask if you could do that. That way everyone who stays at the hotel will know about you and not the ones who look at the book in the room.

I used to travel a lot, and had to stay at hotels 3 to 4 times a week.

The most attractive feature of a restaurant is that they offer the same menu as if you were at the place, and they will bring the food to your room for no extra charge. The hotels usually let you put an ad right at the check-in desk.

Good luck

Remember most people (unless at a vacation spot) travel for business alone. When I do this I don't really want to go sit at a place by myself and eat. Offer delivery or carry-out to the hotel and offer them something free or a discount. If they are there for a few days you could offer something like order 4 meals and the 5th is free.

Offer the Hotel, free advertisement to your customers and give them coupons for what ever you want for their customers. Its kinda like bartering. You both will benefit from this. Your coupons could have a daily special for each day of the week. Just a thought! Good Luck

Give some kind of discount to hotel patrons. Free drinks, reduced priced appetizers, buy one meal get one meal 1/2 off, children free on certain days, discounts for large groups.

People love to get deals, so try a few of these and they will come.

Good luck!
