Since two years ago, I keep all the gifts I receive in a big box and only open them after midnight of Christmas Eve.
It is so much fun.

I cant wait. I have so much trouble every year waiting to open presents. I even have trouble waiting to give presents. It sucks.

We open on Christmas eve. Any gifts I receive before that time get set under the tree and wait.

My Christmases are usually twofold, one Christmas eve at my Grama's house (so I open presents there), and the other Christmas morning, when we open presents and stockings. Do you keep the presents for an entire year, then open them the next year? That might be cool . . . I don't think I could do it, though. I would feel bad for whoever bought me things because I would feel like I was making them think I didn't like/want whatever they had taken the time to find for me.

On Christmas eve as we would wake up late on christmas day after a long celebrations the night before.

I open half of my gifts on Christmas Eve, half on Christmas morning. This is due to the fact that we're with my family on X-Mas Eve and my fiance's family the next morning.

Our family rule is "Do not open until Christmas morning"
But I have peeked at some of my presents when I was 12. I made a small tear and looked inside.

we open one on Christmas eve, picked by the oldest person in the house.( that's usually me!) Amazingly, its always new pj's and a story book.The rest wait until Christmas morning. its been tradition for at least 5 generations in my family
