My husband is 25 and still horribly obsessed with anime.. especially Dragonball and the new Naruto... anyone know a good way to curb the obsession with buying every item related to this?? my house is getting full of this stuff and he's now added two new shows to his favorites!

well I think that it is cool that he like cartoons. I enjoy them too. But the spending has to stop. Put what he has bought in boxes and put it in storage. talk to him and explain that it has gone to far. tell him that if he still want to purchase these items that you will sit down and set a limit per month on the amount that he can spend on these things. Then spend a little on yourself and go for a day at the spa

Wouldn't he be a bit boring if he was just like you. Let the man have a hobby. At least his hobby isn't other women. If the house is getting full of his stuff ask him to set aside just one room for his hobby so it doesn't take over the house. Compromise is the key. Good Luck

i spend less than 50 singapore dollars on anime because i just buy cd-r to burn it but i have a lot of anime. lol. he should download it instead. if he is so obsessed with it that he can't do what he must do or spend time with family. then i think he must stop his addiction. if not. i think the problem is juz the spending and mess. you can help him keep his stuffs and ask him to download instead and burn it or keep it in his hard disk. it will be neater this way.
