how does i delete something from the address on the main page?

Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools
Click on Internet Options
Click on the Clear History button
While there, you may also want to click Delete Files and Delete Cookies (Do the standard housecleaning while you are already there)

I didn't get what you wanna say, but, if you're trying to delete everything in the adress bar on the front p[age in I.E., then go to the "Tools menu, select "Internet Options" and in that choose Clear History. You'll get a "Yes OR No" Q. select YEA, and then, you're done!
