After i download a movie on my computer what do i do to put it on dvd disk?

If you are downloading a whole dvd you should download an iso image of the dvd, then go to your burning program and copy the image to the dvd disk in your burner.

Depends on what format the movie was in when it was downloaded. If it's an Mpeg you can use a product called TMPGenc DVD Author.

If it's an AVI then use AVIDemux to convert the file to Mpeg.

Some AVI to Mpeg converters don't convert correctly so TMPGenc gives a nasty message that the file is not compliant to the DVD standard. We don't want that.

I've been working with computers since 1979 and with DVD mastering and remastering/backup since 2000. If you need specific help with the above programs just let me know. FWIW the TMPGenc product is one of the easiest programs you can use. It also allows you to add chapter marks.

You have to have a DVD burner and it's like burning a CD. I have known some movies to take more than one disc.

you have to have nero, here is a site that lets you get a trial version for about two weeks, if it expires, just uninstal and reinstall this trial version, but if you decide to buy nero which is 80.00 you have to use nero in order to burn dvds

you can print out the illustration to show you how to burn, its very very easy, im burning a movie for my brother right now. if you have anymore questions let me know.

Use Media Player or Nero Burning Rom or something else to burn it to DVD.
