I use Documents to Go, which came with my Palm TX. It is a suite that comes with Palm versions of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. It also has a conduit to sync with your computer. It is found here http://www.dataviz.com/products/documentstogo/index_palm.html

There is also Tinysheet from iambic. It is cheap to buy this if Excel type spreasheets are all you need. It is found here http://www.iambic.com/tinysheet/palmos/

Documents to Go, is the only way to go! It works great and I have encountered no incompatibilities. Docs to Go comes free with most Tungsten Palms, and costs aroiund $40 USD for other Palm OS devices.

Like Kevin, I am a big fan of Documents to Go. It is practically seamless with Excel.
