Why shouldn't it be allowed ?
Men and women can be just friends. It is ok for men and women to be friends if they have a totally platonic relationship. Some of these relationships are more like a brother and sister thing than anything else. I have a friend who is a lady and I do not think of her as anything else. I feel like she is the sister I never had. I can talk to her about things I can't tell my guy friends without being called a wimp. Guys with lady friends can ask their lady friends about relationships with women and get very helpful information. Hope this helps and good luck !

Off course they can,however it would be difficult if they went out with each other previously and that having a male or female friend is good.Most men however have female friends as an alternative or just in case it goes wrong with their partners.You can be friends from work, meet friends at social events like weddings, anniversaries, Birthdays etc however it also best that you mutually agree to be just friends.There are millions of men and women out there who are just friends..I hope this answers your question

Yes. I am sure that the attraction floats back and forth but doesnt land at the same time so that keeps it friends. Isn't it wonderful for your mate to be your friend first? It doesnt always last. When the opposite sex is your friend you have trust, share and care. There's nothing more I respect and appreciate than my male friends and I wouldn't do anything to ruin that for myself or them. I can get the other sides perspective and grow with my partner! What a great and beautiful thing!

Well of course. I am female and have more guy friends than girl friends. Women wear me out with their makeup, and having their nails done, etc.etc. I grew up with two brothers and because of this have always been into sports. Now as far as the man being best friends with a girl. Not too sure about that. Anythings possible.

Of course we can and vice versa. I know i have a male best friend,,we have been friends since 5th grade and we are now 35...and never ever did anything sexual.

yes, I have several friends that are men and my best friend is a male and none of them are gay, I just get along better with men then I do with woman. Woman are back stabbing bitches and I don't need the BS. Hope this helps.

yes, but it can get very complicated if one of them developes romantic feelings for the other one...i was once told by my husband that men and women can not really be friends becasue men have an agenda...they are using thefriendship to get close to the woman for when the time is right, he can have a chance with her...and i have to admit that has been my experience...

There is no doubting men and women can be 'just friends' but it will become very hard if one or both of them have feelings for the other. it could complicate everything! there is the chance of getting together and losing that important friendship!

Yes I think that can be possible. I have had a friend for over 3 years and we been close friends since then. I have my boyfriend and he doesnt' have a problem with it. His always there for me and respects the relationship I have with my boyfriend.
