Yes, people are born gay or straight, and nothing changes that - though there are fundamentalist 'christian' organizations that claim to use 'reparitive therapy' to change a gay man to a straight man, their actual techniques are just brain washing. Once the man leaves the organization he inevitably reverts to his natural orientation.
There is NO nationally or internationally accredited medical organization that claims being gay is anything other than normal, or can be cured - the only groups that do that publish their own (flawed) research and are generally dismissed by the scientific community.

A boy can not be gay. In order for a person to know if they are gay or not they must have completed puberty and be an adult so they must be 18 to 22 years of age. The reason for this is that there are several normal stages of puberty where a young boy will have exploratory sex with another boy. There is another stage rather early in puberty around 12 or 13 where boys admire another boy and even may want to have sex with them. This is the "hero" stage in only lasts for about 6 months. Also, boys and young men are easily aroused and once aroused with a very hard erection it is very hard for a boy to refuse additional sex so that they can get relief and have an orgasm. Older men (pediphiles) that abuse boys sexually know this and will seduce boys and then have sex with them. What you need to do is make sure that you have sex with no one older or younger than you. If you have sex with a male friend talk about it and learn as much as you can about your body and penis and learn what you like in the way of masturbation. As you get older you will stop same sex activities and start with girls. Be safe.

i feel that a boy can only be gay if he likes other boys. YOu can be a boy and have sex with another boy and not be gay if you dont like them...

there is alot of talk and myths out there but my best answer to this is that one is born that way, it is you who makes the decision later on in life to choose to be straight or gay, every boy has their curious side of looking and even trying something with the same sex, i believe that to be normal
