I was wondering if there are any comics out there wether they be in book or strip form. I know of one called closet coon, and would like to know if something similar exists...

Most of what I have come across in the way of gay oriented comics has ben of the adult variety, and even those are few and far between. I believe that this is mostly due to the fact that comics mainly are targeting the youth population, and the 'powers that be' are still rather conservative. THere are a few, and I stress the word few, mainstream carachters that have come out of the closet. Primary among them is Maggie Sawyer of the SUperman comics. Not only is she out, she is the head of a major anti-super crimes unit in Metropolis. I can not think of others at the moment, but I know they are out there.
