Was it everything that you'd imagined, or much more?

My friend once got told to "f*ck off" by Declan Donnelly cos she was stalking him and his (then) girlfriend round HMV. As for me, the most famous person I've ever met was Roy Walker off of Catch Phrase (I still have his autograph). Can you better that?

Roger Moore in a first class carriage on a late afternoon train between Norwich and London years ago. Asked him what he thought of the other 'adventure' programmes like Jason King, etc. in the late sixties - early seventies...used to watch the Saint as a wee bairn, and felt the Bond films turned him into almost a joke. He smiled at that and told me 'Well...that's where I made the most dinero, son!' - he didn't say it at all conceitedly, and before I left him in peace (was getting off at Ipswich), asked him if Grace Jones tried it on with him in 'A View to A Kill'. Didn't catch his reply, and forgot to get his autograph for my mum...ah well - thought it was Mr. Moore, as his left eyebrow was continuously active.

To be honest with U I think that it's not a great matter weather U are meeting a famous person or not, because U may not feel or taste his or her fame just in a few seconds , U should try to feel it with experiencing and living for a while with his or her affords and sufferings till achieving the aimed goal !I think being in a temple does not make us a sacred being. Moreover, living in fame is different from watching famous people , the first is as if U are a driver for a very heart full and unique car, which obliges U to pay a very big attention to Ur time, speed ,accurate looking and way.Ur intention here is on how not to loose it , not how to enjoy it while U are driving. But the second is as if U don't have any thing to do for keeping or developing it , U are just enjoying it without holding any responsibility for this fame!

Matt Lucas lives a few streets down from me, and David Walliams and Robbie Williams live just round the corner too. I used to see Melanie Blatt walking her little girl to school every morning, and Angela Griffiths used to live round there too but think she's moved now. Liam gallagher & Kate Moss and that lot drink in one of the local pubs but none of us ever go in there cos its quite a quiet little pub where no one would bother them or anything. Id be too scared asking any of them for an autograph anyway!
So I guess Ive seen all these people, not the same as 'met'. I did meet 911 (rubbish english boyband years and years ago) and they were lovely. Simon Cowell \was in the lift at my old job because NBC shared the building with us but alas I didnt get to see him.
Id love to meet Christian Slater! I got to ask him a question in the Q&A section after a showing of One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest in London but i would like to to MEET him properly lol if you know what I mean

Well, once upon a time long long ago, way back in the 80s when I was a teenager. I met Depeche Mode in Dublin and got their autographs. . .They were pretty cool and not at all starry. Then in 95 I met Adam Ant in Dublin, yes he was a lovely person to talk to, he spent hours signing autographs for fans and I managed to have my photo taken with him. . .I still treasure it.
I also met Brendan O'Carrol (famous Irish comic author) and I once drove by Bono's house.
