It depends on the weather, how fast I need to get there, and what I need to carry. I own both car and bicycle. They both have their rational. Is car use excessive? Yes! Could our world live without them? Not at this time! If you were going to the hospital for emergency treatment would you prefer going in a car or on a bike? Your answers matter in the real world!

yes, saves a looooooot of money to maintain and effort in cleaning it. plus if you ever have a passenger, he/she doesn't have much choice but hug you the entire ride. =)
i'd prefer a motorcycle though, because i need not pedal it. would you consider it instead than a bicycle? :-D

Yes, I would. Its healthy for my body and cleaner for the environment AND I could see (and notice) more of the countryside than in a car.

I have a bike and ride it now, but I would still need my car for major shopping expeditions.
