Start the car and let it get to operating temp. Once the cooling system becomes pressurized, it is usually easy to see where it is leaking.

You can sometimes squeeze hoses and feel for a soft or weak spot, or where the hose has swelled up and is in danger of rupturing. Do this when the engine is warm, but not running. You really don't want to get caught by a moving fan! Also, use caution - the engine will be hot.

If you can park in a clean dry level spot, you can look underneath to see where in general the leak is happening (front, back, left, right, etc) Then look more in that general area to find where it's coming from.

take the car to a smog center and have the radiator pressure checked ... any leaks will show up when they pressurize the system
