I don't really believe in dating computers. They are too predictable and too calculating.

No I don't, I think it is dangerous and a very sad thing if that is the only way a person can get a date. I would rather wait to find someone than pick from a long list of strangers. There are some crazy people out there and everyone should be careful. We set out guidelines for web usage for children, why shouldn't we take a leaf out of our own book and be careful too? I find it hard to understand how someone can fall in love with letters on a screen. I mean, they could be anyone!!! A psycho, fruitcake, married???? Think on........

A computer can help you meet her, or even know her, but it can do nothing for dating or making you two go further.
If you think the right time comes, just ask her out for a date in the real world.

It has worked well for my adult son. He dated his high school sweetheart for 6 1/2 years and then she broke up with him before the wedding. He was heartbroken and I encouraged him to check out match.com and he has had some really nice girls to date and has gotten over his heartbreak remarkably well. I know well educated professional people who have met on internet dating sites and are now happily married. Say Hi to my friend Blue.

No. It is a good way to meet people but you never know what you're gonna get. You're date could really be a nerd that lives with his mom! You know what I mean?
To me, nothing beats meeting someone for the first time in person!

I love people who ask if we believe in things that blatantly exist.
Computer dating exists, therefore I believe in it. Whether I would use it or approve of it is probably what you wanted to ask.

I believe in it as I have first hand experience of it. I met my now husband online, and we've been together almost 6 years.

It's a great way to meet people. I have friends and family who have found their spouses on the internet.
