I had a folder full of pictures on my computer at home, and I've discovered that they're now also on my laptop. I didn't move them there and have never even moved files from one to the other with a CD ROM. So how did they get from one computer to the other?

Do you have have a network at home which you hook your laptop up to? If so the Home PC could have inadvertantly send some folders across to your Laptop.

The folder might be shared through a local network. (you could see your Network Places to check.) :)
