> If you mean why bother to study, it is better to be scoiable and go out drinking with your friends - then yes a good job is more important.
> If you mean let other people walk over you... then no having a good job is more important.
> If you mean should this job pay well because you exploit the poor and pollute the planet - then no being a good person is better.
> Why not choose a good job where lets you also cat as a good person - cancer research, working with charities, working as a doctor or nurse. Then you should not have a conflict.

No I wouldn't say so. I think that one would land you the other. If you are a decent human being and want to apply for a job you just might get it. It also depends upon what type of job you want. I wish it worked for politics but unfortunately with them talking the talk is better than walking the walk.

Ridiculous. Keep in mind the sender of the email may not have anything to do with the web site – the site might be legitimate but the “offer” is certainly not. I don’t know what kind of fraud they are setting you up for, but fraud it must be. Think about it this way – they are offering a student $3000 / month for less than five hours a week? $36K for a job that is less than 1/8th full time? That would be the hourly equivalent of $288,000 per year. Do you think there is any chance at all that that is real? I don’t.

Why would you ever have to be a BAD person to get a good job? Being a crook? Good people can work nearly all jobs.

Not to me, NO. But, I've met many other female coworkers who would agree with that, and have sabotaged my position so they could take it from me. One of them, I trained to do my job so I could go on vacation 6 months after I was due for one, and she effectively sold herself to our boss to do my job for less $$. What a biatch!
