She should at least stay for a little longer so she can be with her daughter when she gives birth. But her mother does have her own life. She can still be involved in her grandchilds life with out having to live so close. Not all grandparents are in the same place as their grandchildren. My grandmother lived half way around the world, and she was a great impact on me and how I am today.

Your friend must do what she feels is right. At the end of the day the daughter is going to have the baby, and get on with her life bringing up the child, your friend has her own life to lead and if she feels she needs to be somewhere else, then so be it. All the other stuff is still going to happen no matter where she is, no one is ever very far away nowadays, with the internet, telephone, webcams, the workld is a smaller place

Well is her move based on a job or something that she cant really control - or is it just coz she fancies a change?
If possible she should put the move off for a year or two - and see how she feels after the arrival of her grand daughter.
Her whole perspective could change after its born.

nicely, i have been in this position earlier, and my suitable advice: stay acquaintances. Telling him what you sense somewhat isn't the right selection. you've such extremely some extra recommendations accessible to you at abode. i'm no longer declaring cut back off contact. Theres no telling what ought to change in many years, and it really is conceivable so that you could work out one yet another later once you're self sustaining. i'm only declaring do not keep your self for him. How commonly do you imagine you receives to work out one yet another in case you stay thus far aside? For me, the reply changed into by no skill. I by no skill said her again. Which changed into horrid, somewhat when I confessed my thoughts for her it really is outstanding to have a pal like that. yet thats only it. shop it as acquaintances :-P

When the answer is so obvious... why is the question worth asking?

If the flame is hot... should I put my hand into it or not?

It hurts when I stick pins in my eyes... should I stop doing it?

For goodness sake.... we need to consider the size of franchise and take the vote of people such as this!

family is important. trust me, i moved 110 miles away from all my family and as people grew, i missed it and was lost on things when i came back to visit. It began to bother me for a few months that i was missing out so i moved back to be around family.
.......maybe she should weigh out the good and the bad of leaving.

Depends on why she is moving away.

If her reason for moving away is more important to her than seeing her grandchild then she should go.

If it isn't then she should stay.

As i say, depends entirely on the circumstances.
