Hit it really hard with a broom, and it'll die. Trust me, I know how these filty things work. Oh and when you hit it, make sure it's towards it's head. If you hit the tail, it'll just come off and the disgusting creature can survive with a midget tail, so it'll still keep bothering you. Oh and to prevent more stupid lizards coming into your house, keep egg shells on the window sill. Apparently they're afraid of birds and if they see egg shells it'll freak them out. All the stuff i've related to you just now is perfectly true..It's been tried and tested :) goodluck squishing that filthy thing to peices.

I know this is gonna offend all the lizard lovers.... but i hate these creatures... and i am absolutley terrified of them... to the point that if one gets in my house i have a bad panic attact.... believe me i have done SO MUCH research on how to get rid of these things once and for all..... this is what i found out .. first of virtually nothing gets rid of them.... the only thing i can find is what the other posting said a broom and smash them .. but that is usually on 10 % effective..... however you gotta get some spay.... WASP spray is the best because it sprays so many feet away.... spay them and it paralizes them still for a minute or so .. then you can get to them without them running and smash them or get them out of the house ... or garage or where ever they are.
i have tried the mothballs and nope it doesnt work... i live in florida and lizards are every where...
i am sorry for offending the lizard lovers.. but the same as some one would think twice about killing a spider.... that is how it is for me and these lizards......
ps if the wasp spray get too expeniside any bug spray will work....

Why would you want to get rid of a lizard, they're only there to help kill some of the bugs you got hanging around. I have a whole colony of gekos that live on my porch. They kill all the anoying bugs that hang around my porch light
