Some ppl I know keep whining about it, it is supposed to be a kind of blue dwarf....anyone heard of it or is it one big pile of nonsence ?

WOW you must be quite young not to have been around for the smurfs! They are little blue people who live in mushrooms and get pestered all the time by Gargamel the mean wizard there is smurfet (the only female smurf) papa smurf (the leader of them all) grampa smurf (the old one) brainey (the annoying smart one) clumsy smurf (well you can guess what this one was like) there were heaps of them I used to LOVE watching The Smurfs!

The Smurfs (Les Schtroumpfs in French) are a fictional group of small sky blue creatures who live somewhere in the forests of Europe. The Belgian cartoonist Peyo introduced smurfs to the world, but English-speakers perhaps know them best through the animated television series from Hanna-Barbera Productions, The Smurfs.

Smurfs were really popular in the 80's and yes, they are little blue elf like creatures with white hats (except Papa smurf...his hat is red) Smurfette doesn't wear a hat. Check out this website to see a picture

i imagine you want to go away them on my own as they are sweet and humorous and performance sufficient worry with gargomel and that cat i appreciate the smurfs so that you stop being unsmurfy and go smurf something else it truly is evil and the smurfs may actually help you

They are real! I accidently stepped on them as I was chainsawing trees in the forest. They look like blue splat blobs (probably because I have already stomped on them, sorry).
I've always wondered how they can propagate with one single female Smurfette.
