I had what I thought was a very good friend, but I found out that she has been talking about me to this other girlfriend of mine.I confronted her about it and she denies even talking to her .

You already answered it when you said, "so called friends" they are not "true friends" because real friends do not do that. It takes a few years for you to actually find out who your true friends really are, usually it takes something in your life to happen where you need them, and the one thats always there for you when your down really does care and wouldn't risk the friendship and stab you in the back, unless of course you will always have at least 1 that is hanging around and eventually tries to steal your man! It's all live and learn, keep your eyes open, and be carefull who you really trust. You have to keep in mind also that as you get older and change other people change too, sometimes for the good and sometimes for the worst. Good luck.

This is something your going to experience your entire life. At first I thought it was a stupid "highschool" thing, then when I got into the real world, I noticed it's sthe same situation no matter what....
Personally what I would do is, Back off..Don't call, don't talk in school or whatever, Act like you don't care she will come around

You said it so called friends, BIG DIFFERENCE! A real friend would never do that, but my old Pappy always said never fear when people are talking about you, but rather when they stop! Don't let it bother you, rise above it show them you have more class in your little finger than they have in their entire bodies!

Because they are your SO-CALLED friends and not TRUE friends! REAL FRIENDS don't have time for that. They'll be the ones supporting you and ceasing all conversation about you if in the room when it happens!

If your friends are talking about you behind your back they are not truly your friends. You might want to reevaluate who your friends are.
